Buying a cock cage.

We have been looking at cock cages and are not sure what size to buy. Maybe a bit much information for you but I’m 5 inches. Do we buy one that size or a shorter one so it’s a snug Fit?

You want shorter as a general rule but if you’re 5″ flaccid and never get smaller than that then you’d want the larger of the CB-6000 cages or perhaps the CURVE even. Remember cage length isn’t the same as what you measure – as there’s the whole ring and gap too. So the CB-6000 regular is 3.25″ cage length plus another 0.75 inch or so (it’s not pressed hard on your groin) – so that’s definitely your starting point.

You absolutely don’t want too big because what happens is if you have any room to grow, particularly at night, then you start to get erect but then it’s stopped but once that has started it pushes much harder on the ring and is painful. If you fill the cage to the end when flaccid it never gets up that growth momentum and so (as far as I read and our experience) it tends to be much better.

Part of why we recommend Lovehoney is that if it doesn’t fit you just send it back and they change or refund no questions asked for a whole year. So, basically just get one and try it! The CB range are still the first I’d ever recommend because you need to discover what ring size and gap between cage and ball loop suits you. It varies for everyone (and tends to get a bit smaller as you get used to it).

The main thing is to just get SOMETHING so you can have some fun with it and see how both of you get on with the idea.

Once you have worked that out (and discovered if chastity play is for you) you can try different metal ones because ultimately they are simpler, easier to keep clean and much hotter IMO.

While we just use some lube to get hubby in his cages, to get a larger cock into any cage there is the also ‘stocking method’:

How the Stocking Method Works (from tickelberry.co.uk)

The Stocking Method is a way of getting into the cage or tube of your chastity device without using lubricant, and can work well for natural and circumcised cocks. The stocking method can be of particular help if your foreskin is intact as this technique can help prevent it from bunching up at the top between the cage and ring, thereby making everything more comfortable.

Below is an explanation of how the stocking method can help you get into, and stay more comfortable, in any device that has an opening at the end of the cage. We’ve also included a set of our photos to help better describe the process.

Take a lady’s knee length stocking (or cut off one leg of a pair of tights – get permission first!!).
With your cock ring fitted and awaiting the presentation of the cage thread the stocking through the opening at the end of your chastity cage.
Place your penis inside the stocking ensuring that the open end of the stocking is right against your body.
Bring the cage up to the ring, placing your cock into the entrance.
As you gently pull on the stocking your cock will be drawn fully into the cage.
Lock your chastity device together, and pull the remaining stocking from the cage.
Bunching up for the foreskin at the entrance of the cage should be greatly reduced.
